Plant Operator
Plant Operators are professionals, who monitor products and produce high quality medical devices for dental applications. They play a crucial role in maintaining product standards and quality-control systems. Expertly handling machinery allows Plant Operators to identify potential malfunctions to improve efficiency, while ensuring the production of quality parts that meet customer specifications. Plant Operators directly contribute to value-added activities and are pivotal to the success of our company.
Production Machinery Mechanic
Production Machinery Mechanics will work primarily on a wide variety electro-mechanical machinery which utilize electro-mechanical automation, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, PLCs and electronic control systems. The Production Machinery Mechanic performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on existing manufacturing equipment and can also be involved in the installation and startup of new equipment. As generalists with a wide array of technical knowledge and a sense of intuition, the Machinery Mechanic will search for the root cause of problems, solve the problem and realize improvements. The target of the Machinery Mechanic is to minimize downtime of equipment, improve performance and output and reduce costs of maintenance & repair.
Ivoclar Vivadent Manufacturing, Inc. is accredited by the New Jersey Department of Labor and provides three years or 6000 hours of on-the-job training including 432+ hours of related technical instruction through a local community college and a supplemental online learning platform. Apprentices will receive training and experiences in all areas of Ivoclar’s manufacturing operations. Students are provided with a program structure, instruction and guidance from seasoned employees within the company, and professional and career development support throughout the program. At the successful completion of the program, students will receive an Apprenticeship Program Certificate recognized by the United States Department of Labor.
We will begin to accept applications in the Fall of 2024 for enrollment in the Summer of 2025.
