Tetric® plus

Simplified universal composite

Count on Tetric plus

5 cavity classes
4 shades

1 universal composite

Tetric plus is our new simplified universal composite that can be applied in layers up to 4 mm in thickness. It meets your requirements for a high-quality universal composite while offering even greater efficiency and simplicity.

The new Tetric® plus.

4 shades

  • Easy shade matching – exceptional shade adaptation
  • Just 4 shades for all VITA* classical shades and Bleach shades
  • Unique shades inspired by natural tooth colours

4 mm

  • 4-mm layer thicknesses for increased efficiency
  • Can be applied in individual layer thicknesses between 0.1 and 4 mm
  • Reliable curing, starting from 3 seconds

4 quadrants

  • Simplified universal composite
  • Suitable for all five cavity classes, including use in the anterior region

4 fillers

  • 4 fantastic fillers for high quality and convenient handling
  • Esthetics suitable even for the anterior region
Esthetics at 4 mm

High-quality universal composites have made monochromatic fillings increasingly popular even in the anterior region. However, bulk-fill composites – known for allowing larger layer thicknesses – have traditionally been seen as lacking in esthetics. With Tetric plus, we are setting a new standard: Its optimized formulation bridges the gap between esthetics and functionality, allowing layer thicknesses of up to 4 mm while maintaining excellent esthetics.

High quality and convenient handling

Tetric plus Fill

Tetric plus is a sculptable universal composite that can be applied in layers up to 4 mm in thickness.

Handling

  • Sculptable viscosity that adapts well to cavity walls
  • 92% of dentists report high satisfaction with the cushioning effect[1]
  • Viscosity can be adjusted by heating the material, if desired

Mechanical properties

  • Reliable curing[2] of layers up to 4 mm, ensuring strength and longevity
  • High radiopacity[2] >200% Al for easy diagnostics
  • Very good mechanical properties for high strength:
    – High flexural strength[2] (133 MPa) and compressive strength (375 MPa)
    – Low wear
  • Low shrinkage stress for a reduced risk of marginal gaps
  • High bond strength with Adhese Universal for sound marginal integrity
  • Low water absorption[2] of 21 μg/mm3 for improved stability

Tetric plus Flow

Tetric plus Flow is a flowable universal composite that can be applied in layers up to 4 mm in thickness.

Handling

  • Universal viscosity thanks to exceptional thixotropic properties
    – Precise application and high stability[3]
    – Good flowability[4] for fast volume replacement
  • Adapts to cavity walls and has a self-levelling effect
  • Even with 4-mm layers, no additional covering layer is needed due to the material's very good mechanical properties[5]

4 mm for higher efficiency. 4 shades for greater simplicity.

Short and consistent curing times

Efficient 4-mm composites are not a new thing. What is new, however, is that you can now use them for all cavity classes, further reducing the number of products needed for restorations.

Even faster within the workflow

When combined with Adhese Universal and Bluephase PowerCure, you benefit from a well-coordinated product portfolio. Including consistent and short curing times,
starting from 3 seconds.

Optimized inventory management

Using one universal composite with fewer shades means fewer orders, less stock and fewer expired products. This saves both time and money.
