If you are looking for a way to be better prepared and start off your next semester with more confidence, Ivoclar's Summer School program is the answer. Your university has provided you the best foundation. We offer you the opportunity to deepen that knowledge and advance the skills that you have gained, while learning about new products and techniques. You will leave knowing that your future patients will be in more capable hands; your own!
No matter what Summer School location you choose, you will be empowered to practice and advance your skills. We invite you to get to know all the different aspects of dentistry – from a clinical, interpersonal, and business minded perspective. Our program is designed to cover a wide range of topics, with a strong focus on getting you ready for your first patients.
To benefit from the program and guarantee a rewarding experience for the entire group, all the participants must have a similar skills level. If you can answer all the following questions with “yes”, then you meet the necessary participation criteria.
– Are you currently a dental student?
– Did you complete the hands-on phantom head courses at your university?
– Do you know how to operate handpieces (hold the handpiece, exchange burs, recognize the different shapes)?
Undergraduate students, who have not completed the pre-clinical courses in the skills lab, will not benefit from the program and are therefore not qualified.
The course fee for 2024 is €290 and includes five days of training. Included are all the materials and equipment needed for the workshops, hand-outs, lunch, coffee breaks, and one social evening event. Please bring your own work clothes.
