Material and devices\, which allow an economic and str ess-free workflow\, form the base for such a concept. Using the UTS Transf erbow\, Stratos 300 articulator in combination with the 3D template\, tuto r Richard Egan will demonstrate using a combination of advanced techniques to show how the Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS®) offers a practica l combination of a systematic workflow and high-quality materials for the fabrication of functional and aesthetic dentures. Delegates are reminded t hat this is an advanced course and as such\, you should complete the stand ard BPS course before attending.\nAims:\nA progression of the standard cou rse\, this BPS technical advanced course will take a deep dive into one of the more complex cases that can be handled using the system. Using clinic al data received from the Dentist or Clinical Dental Technician\, you will learn how to transfer the information into the fully adjustable Stratos 3 00 articulator. Programming the condylar and Bennett angles into Stratos 3 00 articulator using the patients' individual dimensions\, results in more individualised articulator excursions. Used in combination with the 3D se t up template\, you will create dentures with improved occlusion\, functio n and a more harmonious tooth arrangement. A full demonstration of model m ounting\, and information transfer will be given before delegates use pre- mounted models to set up a F/F Class II\, unilateral crossbite with fully balanced occlusion.\nObjectives:\n· Learn the advanced applications of th e BPS®\n· Carry out advanced model analysis\n· Understand the correct a pplication of the UTS Transferbow\, Stratos 300 and 3D set up template\n· Demonstration of correct facebow mounting onto Stratos 300\n· Understand the technical workflow when using individualised patient settings and tem plates\n· Set up an advanced difficulty F/F according to BPS principles u sing the 3D template\n· Achieve fully balanced occlusion\n· Improve your natural wax up technique\nLearning outcomes aligned to GDC:\nC: Maintenan ce and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice\nV erifiable CPD Hours - 7\nProducts Used (not an exhaustive list) Stratos 30 0 Articulator\, UTS Transferbow system\, BPS 3D template\, SR Vivodent S D CL.
